The Company was formed to serve a need within the professional aviation training industry for quality pilot instructional services and specialist ATO support functions.

With extensive experience working within the training and courseware development arenas, we continue to build key relationships, supporting the continued growth of the company’s portfolio.

In 2017 the company embarked upon a significant investment project that has seen the introduction of office headquarters and training facility in the London Gatwick area. An exciting project designed to capitalise on significant industry growth and serve a growing need for high quality airline ready pilots.

Whilst the design and delivery of quality training products are very much central to the company’s success, growing a people-centric business that places individual wellbeing and development central to its identity, is of equal and critical importance.

“We are an independent training organisation providing industry with the very best talent, developed and nurtured as part of our elitePILOT ™ community.”

We operate in a highly regulated, safety critical and facts-based business, so here are some key FACTS to help you choose the right training partner for you:

FACT: Our business is owned and operated by pilots, for pilots. All Directors, shareholders and investment team are aviators at heart, which means our focus is on providing you with the very best training experience at an affordable price. We are not marketing people, nor are we interested in making promises of jobs or ‘guaranteed’ interviews and selection. We are experienced trainers with an interest in improving training and maintaining the highest industry standards.
FACT: We are based in the UK’s busiest airline and simulator training hub (Manor Royal, Gatwick) which means you’ll likely meet many active airline pilots, Instructors, Examiners and key management people during your time with us.
FACT: The airline industry is a supply/demand, cyclical business, currently experiencing its largest and most sustained upturn in modern times. This means that new pilots can afford to take a more targeted approach to job-seeking and whilst a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach may suit some, our approach is much more tailored to your individual needs and wishes. We are well-placed to help you achieve what’s right for you.
FACT: Our courses are designed from the ground-up, by pilots for pilots. We are an all-encompassing ATO with expertise across many training disciplines, from APS MCC through to Examiner Standardisation training (and everything in between). This requires experience, and a level of expertise not readily available at other ‘one-stop-shop’ training companies.
FACT: Our B737-800W device is a genuine Boeing licensed B737-800W supported by a Boeing data-pack. It holds dual UK CAA certification as a type-specific B737-800W FTD and generic format FNPT II MCC. It is not a generic device dressed up to look like a B737. Why is this important? Well, as a training-centric organisation, we value training, and that requires an understanding of device capability and certification. For example, the ‘APS’ element of the newly certified APS MCC course requires specific handling exercises that can only be properly supported and trained in a high-fidelity device that handles like the aeroplane.
FACT: Our APS MCC course includes a minimum of 4 hours full-motion training at one of our satellite locations (normally Boeing). Whilst it would be more financially beneficial for us to deliver the entire course on our in-house FTD, the training benefit gained from feeling high speed ‘g buffet’ and low speed approach to stall in a full-motion simulator, is invaluable for the trainee. To maintain our reputation as a high-quality training organisation, we must ensure that training adds value, so that’s what we are doing.
FACT: We have a healthy mix of current airline Instructors and retirees, all standardised to the ‘Boeing way’. This means that you’ll gain the very best grounding when you transition through our courses, and gain insight into different operating philosophies that may exist between manufacturer and airline.

Your Wellbeing

We believe that the training environment extends far beyond the classroom or simulator. We also believe that the comfort of our surroundings can play a significant part in how we relax and manage our stress levels. Training is stressful; life itself can be stressful; being away from home and family can induce loneliness and add stress; the financial commitment of pilot training is certainly stressful. Whilst we recognise the impossibility of removing all stress from the training process, we do acknowledge our duty of care during your stay with us.

Our ethos is very much people-centric; with a team of people 100% focused on supporting you through the process. We are delighted that you’re with us, and commit to providing you with the very best training environment possible.

As you embark upon your elitePILOT ™ journey, we encourage you to make use of the peripheral support options available. Take good care of yourself during your stay with us; eat well, exercise lots, take regular fresh air, and take time to relax. It’s crucial.

Looking after your physical and emotional wellbeing during situations of high stress and fatigue will certainly set you on the right path to achieve a long and successful career.
